To facilitate important commemorative events, the Hanoi Police Department will enforce traffic bans and restrictions on multiple streets in the city from August 7 to August 10, 2025.

🕓 Timeframes for restrictions:
August 7: 4:00 AM – 8:00 AM
August 8: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
August 9 & 10: 6:30 AM – 12:00 PM
🚫 Streets with complete vehicle bans:
Dinh Tien Hoang, Trang Tien, Ngo Quyen, Le Thai To
Le Lai, Le Thach, Dinh Le, Nguyen Xi
Hang Khay, Hang Dau, Lo Su, Tran Nguyen Han, Luong Van Can
Bao Khanh, Hang Bai, Ba Trieu (around Hoan Kiem Lake)
Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square and the area in front of the State Bank of Vietnam
⚠️ Vehicles subject to temporary bans or restrictions include:
Trucks with a payload of 500kg or more
Passenger vehicles with 16 seats or more
Private cars and motorbikes may also face limitations depending on the route
📍 Affected areas include:
Ngo Quyen, Tran Hung Dao, Hai Ba Trung, Pho Hue, Hang Bong, Hang Gai, Nha Tho, Nha Chung, Quang Trung, and other streets around the Hoan Kiem district.
✅ Exempt vehicles: Public buses, waste collection vehicles, emergency vehicles, and those with official permits will still be allowed to operate.
